Peru wrapped up its participation at ITB Berlin 2026 by showcasing the very best of its natural, cultural, and culinary richness. From March 3 to 5, the country presented a concept inspired by the Peruvian Amazon—highlighting its biodiversity, living culture, spirit of adventure, and commitment to sustainability.
The Peruvian stand delivered a multisensory experience, featuring an Amazon-inspired mural, a 360° immersive space, soundscapes, aromas, and guided tours that brought German audiences closer to the essence of this region. The experience was further enriched with showcooking events, pisco-based cocktails, and Peruvian coffee tastings—reminding visitors that Peru is also discovered through its flavors.
Alongside 15 Peruvian tourism companies, the country showcased an offering centered on authentic experiences, where nature, cultural heritage, and purpose-driven travel come together. In the adventure tourism pavilion, Peru also highlighted destinations linked to sustainable and community-based tourism—an approach that strongly resonates with German travelers.
Peru’s presence at the fair once again confirmed what makes it so compelling on the global stage: tradition, richness, identity, and a truly unique way of experiencing travel.
