Cusco was named the best city in Central and South America by Travel and Leisure

For the second year running, the ancient capital of the Inka Empire has clinched the top spot on this prestigious list.

The world chose it! Each year, Travel and Leisure (T+L), a leading travel publication, conducts its World's Best Awards survey. This year, over 186,000 people participated, casting more than 700,000 votes to determine the world's best travel experiences.

Scoring an impressive 87.47, readers of T+L have once again chosen Cusco as the best city in Central and South America, solidifying its status as a must-visit destination. Additionally, Lima secured fourth place, climbing four spots from last year.
