Peruvian Pride: Our country took home the silver award at the World Travel Market (WTM) in London.
At the World Travel Market (WTM) tourism fair in London, Peru won the silver award for "Most Desired Adventure Destination," presented by Wanderlust, one of the United Kingdom’s most influential travel magazines.
This award, determined by over 3 million votes from 168,000 travelers worldwide, cements Peru’s status as a dream destination for adventure, culture, and gastronomy. In this category, New Zealand claimed first place, placing Peru in a prestigious second, ahead of popular destinations like the United States, Costa Rica, Colombia, and Chile.

From November 5 to 7, Peru took part in the World Travel Market, where PROMPERÚ presented the very best of Peruvian tourism at a vibrant, 306-square-meter stand brimming with color and culture. Featuring 30 Peruvian companies, including tour operators and hotel groups, the stand became one of the event’s top attractions, drawing in journalists, tour operators, and industry professionals from around the globe.
Visitors enjoyed cultural activities like traditional dances and tastings of Peruvian dishes, along with samples of the iconic Pisco sour and rich Peruvian coffee.
